"Vou Vivendo" is a choro by Pixinguinha, a great Brazilian composer, flautist, and saxophonist. My friend Jack shared this tune with me a about a week ago. I quickly became enamored of it, and decided to record my own guitar duo version. I recorded it in the back deck of my uptown apartment, using a stereo mic into a tape emulator.

After recording, I listened to it at different speeds, and liked how each tempo // timbre let me enjoy different characteristics of the recording, and how listening to projections of my guitar and voice at different registers of the frequency spectrum gave the same exact recording a wide range of textures, rhythmic and timbral.

In this collection are multiple instantiations of the same recording, played back at different speeds. Feel free to only listen to the "normal speed" (1x) version. or just the fast ones (>1x). or just the slow ones (<1x). or the one where I improvised over the speed of time (f(x)). or all of them together {U}.
